Trained as a physics engineer at EPFL followed by an Executive MBA in technology management (MoT).
He co-founded and chaired HTceramix SA (2000 – 2006), a company that develops and markets ceramic fuel cells. Sold to SolidPower SpA in 2007. In parallel, from 2000 to 2010, he was co-founder and CEO of VHF-Technologies SA (Flexcell), a company producing flexible photovoltaic panels, then director of Belenos Clean Power Holding Ltd within the Swatch Group (2010 – 2015).
CEO of Swiss Hydrogen SA (2015 – 2017), a start-up that acquired a license to market the fuel cell technology of Belenos Clean Power (Swatch Group) and was then sold to the Auto Inergy division of the Plastic Omnium group.
Today he acts as Business Line Director of Fuel Cell Systems within the Plastic Omnium Group.
