Race for Water Team

Jeanne Noël-Métayer

Communication Manager

Granddaughter of a fisherman, I grew up on the beautiful coast of Lorient. My soul is insular, inherited from my family originally from the island of Groix. Since my youth, my passion for the sea and its ecosystem has never wavered. I have also been active in the nonprofit sector, involved with UNICEF, Restos du Cœur, and Secours Populaire…

My interest in technological innovations has always been strong. This passion naturally led me to the Race for Water foundation. I started as a communications intern, a first step that extended into a two-year apprenticeship as a digital project manager. During these three years at the foundation, I was able to showcase my knowledge and skills, particularly by actively contributing to the 2017-2020 Odyssey.

However, the global COVID-19 pandemic temporarily interrupted my commitments to the foundation. Now, in 2023, I am returning with determination as the communications manager. My main goal is to elevate the Race for Water foundation and promote its new commitments. I am ready to take on this challenge and actively contribute to the mission that I hold so dear.
