Patricia Tella is an author, chemist-biologist at the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) and administrative assistant.
“Fascinated by biodiversity, by reptiles in general and sea turtles in particular, I created a series called “Le monde selon Nyamba” (The world according to Nyamba), in which the main character, Nyamba the green turtle, enabled me to raise public awareness about animals and ecology whilst also tackling the social, economic and ethical issues within the society in which we live. Becoming a member of the Race for Water Angels committee, which informs the general public about the pollution of our oceans is an obvious move for me”.
