Christmas in Fiji for Race for Water!

This morning, the crew led by Jean-Marc Normant brought Race for Water alongside in Port Denarau Marina, in Nadi in the Fiji Islands, for a one month stopover.

Jean-Marc Normant, Captain: “The South Pacific has really spoiled us. We’ve had some extraordinary stopovers, and our meetings and exchanges have always been very lively, with some solid technological performances with regards to the use of the kite and the hydrogen. How lucky we are to have had the opportunity to enjoy such precious moments on this boat!”

The programme in Fiji will kick off on 5 January 2019 with Pascal Morizot at the helm, supported by Anabelle Boudinot, Anne Le Chantoux, Basile Prime, Peter Charaf and Margaux Chalas.

Visits by the local schoolchildren, press conferences, workshops, etc. have already been organised by the Foundation’s Shore-based teams. Prior to all that though, the Race for Water teams are calling a Christmas truce to hook up with their nearest and dearest

We wish you all a wonderful festive season; a big thank you for all your support.
