Beach Clean Up - Bali

Members of the Race for Water crew joined Green School's SOAP™ (Student Ocean Ambassadors Program™) organised fun family day on Saturday, June 8th at Seseh Beach in Bali.  The event was aimed to raise awareness of how we can help clean our Oceans.

Sisters Melati and Isabel Wijsen, students from the world renown Balinese international school, set up the “Bye Bye Plastic Bag” 5 years ago at just 10 and 12 years old. The eco entrepreneur movement is led by youth around the world to say no to plastic bags.

“We envision a world free of plastic bags and where the young generation are empowered to take action. Our mission is to empower people to do what is right through education, campaigns, and political meetings. Start making that difference one bag at a time.” Explain Melati and Isabel.

Camille Rollin, responsible for the ACT programme at the Race for Water Foundation, Eric Loiseau, internationally acclaimed French Adventurer, TV presenter and Race For Water Ambassador together with Peter Charaf, the team’s media man joined the event to show support for the activities.
