While waiting to resume the course of the odyssey, Race for Water is moored at the pontoon in Kagoshima, a city overlooked by the Sakurajima volcano and located on the island of Kyūshū, about 965 km, as the crow flies, southwest of Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
